KSP Modular Launch Pads New Saturn IB Hold Down Arm Demo
Made a new hold down arm for the Saturn pad, this one is meant for the Saturn I/IB on the milkstool. It's an under-the-fin type, inspired by the original hold-downs for the Saturn I and IB, which attached to the base of the fins. Mine depart a bit from those, as they have a retracting arm and "attach" to the engine mount's side right under the fin.
The Saturn IB shown is from Bluedog Design Bureau:

The milkstool also is getting an integrated "insert", with switchable node configurations for different types of hold-down arrangements. The original 4x22.5° nodes are now just one of several options, there are 4x90, 4x45 and 8x45 setups as well. There also will be different hold-down support spans for smaller diameter rockets.
