8-Bit gaming was of a more simpler time, games were not fancy nor did they have overly complicated controls or instructions and they certainly did not have DLC at all. And while some modern gamers will not understand or appreciate this, I most certainly do. Kung-Fu Kid was a prime example of this simple game mechanic at work, basic but not easy, enjoyable to play and easy to pick up and IMO was one of the better Mega Cartridges available on the system.
