Today I'm trying out Receiver, an indie First Person Shooter with realistically complex gunplay mechanics. Created for the 7-day FPS challenge, Receiver has roguelike-like characteristics with randomized levels, one-shot permadeath and unordered storytelling. While not normally a big FPS fan, I really like the surprisingly tense atmosphere that was created by combining all of these elements.
