Branded is the current top meta deck in Master Duel. It revolves around fusion summoning and has access to fusion summoning from hand, field, graveyard and DECK; fusion summoning from opponent's field (with or without Super Polymerization); fusion summoning from no materials at all (Via Lubellion or Albion). Its fusion monsters have varied and powerful effects and so the overall result is a deck that has a lot of ways to delete your monsters and summon out powerful ones of its own, even through disruption.

The star card is the newly added archetypal fusion, "Branded Fusion". It's searchable, at 3, and it can fusion from the deck. The strongest boss is "Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon" which can banish cards and has a floating effect to kill your entire board if you kill it. Kinda scary!

Like most aggressive decks it's possible to get them to run out of gas, but a single "Branded Fusion" is enough to make them a major threat again.

At the end of this match things are on a knife-edge. They're using Aluber to search Branded Fusion so they can get rolling again. I summon Lovely Lady with Welcome Labrynth to pop Aluber and then hit a card at random in their 2-card hand. It strikes home, and their hope of recursion vanishes before their eyes...
