Labrynth Vs. Swordsoul: You thought going first would save you?
2Not my best playing, but a good example of the kind of nonsense Labrynth can get up to now. The resolution of traps allows you to recur resources like crazy, including the resources that let you set traps to activate traps to recur resources...
Big Welcome activating and returning a monster you control to the hand trigger's Lady's effect, so you then get an extra pop or handrip off of it. That's the fatal blow there, I essentially tore through their resources - and come my turn, I'd have been able to recur GY traps and summon Arianne again for a search!
I don't quite grok its new form, but Labrynth continues to feel less like a combo deck and more like a pile of interactions you have to stitch together to disrupt and out-value the opponent. Very Big Think, at least for now.
