WELCOME TO LAKE HAVASU CITY VACATION, its me, saintcastle, moocow and the evils driving down to Lake Havasu to visit my mother and her husband from Monday to Thursday afternoon.
Me and moocow along with the evils(my step kids) went to visit my mother and her husband in Lake Havasu from Monday through Thursday afternoon. Upon arriving we head straight to the lake, then after head to my moms and her husbands home for some food and drink, swimming, and conversing about everything. The first day we made pizza, we had dough, all the toppings, cheese, the whole works. We put the already ready to bake pizzas in the pizza griller which you then place in a BBQ. At the right temperature you are ready to insert the pizza for cooking. Everyone except me made a regular pizza I however made a stromboli which I then stuffed with tons and tons of toppings. Little after eating and having some shots of Patron, Moocow and I hopped in the swimming pool with the evils and my mothers husband. Day two was filled with more food, talking and swimming not to mention 3 more shots of patron and a few beers. The main course for day two, home made tacos with sopa(my favorite dish). My mom prepped the taco meat the day before to cook overnight in a pot. Sopa is basically chicken broth and tomato sauce mixed in with one another to create a sauce and in that sauce you can put any kind of pasta in it from sphagetti, shells, etc. By this time we all were tipsy two days in a row with another day on the way. Just like the first day after eating we all went swimming while music was playing on a huge boom box that use to be mine when I lived In Blythe, CA. It's better useful at my mothers place instead of with me so i leave it there. Day three consisted of me cooking on the grill, corn on the cob and steaks, at least until her husband got home to take over. The steaks had a sauce with mushrooms to place on top of the steaks. My mom made that sauce and mushroom topping for the steak. To go with the corn on the cob and the steaks, we had a potato and cheese dish with oven roasted bread. That was a very delicious main course meal I tore up. Like the first day after we ate and had drinks, me, my mother, her husband, and moocow we hit the pool for some good swimming and to work off all the food we ate especially the alcohol. As always the kids get whatever they want there, snacks, food, drinks, etc. So they love it there, hell they even got to drive the Seadoos even rev them up. We always look forward to visiting Arizona, Lake Havasu, its so beautiful there and calm unlike crazy ass Las Vegas with crazy ass bad drivers. We never want to come back but at some point you have to return to reality and bills and school. Until next time we get to return to Lake Havasu we count the days till that happens. I hope you enjoyed this series, surely it wont be the last of the series, stay tuned for more visits to this beautiful place I would love to live one day.
