Landing on a 1300m Runway! | REAL 737 Captain LIVE | Santos Dumont
Join me in the flight deck live as we take the ZIBO MOD 737 to Brazil!
We'll be replicating the Rio de Janeiro-São Paulo air bridge. With more than 120 flights operating daily between the two cities it’s one of the busiest domestic routes in the world.
We’re starting the day in Santos Dumont (SBRJ), Rio De Janeiro where we’ll practice our short field performance take off (Flap 25 and Bleeds Off) to make sure we can take off from its incredibly short 1300m runway.
We’ll fly West bound to São Paulo–Congonhas Airport (SBSP) for a quick turn around and then fly back to Rio, returning to Santos Dumont where we’ll be testing the stopping power of the ZIBO MOD!
Bem vindos a bordo!

The primary purpose of this stream is to give you the opportunity to see how I operate the aircraft in real time using real world operating procedures.
Time permitting, I will try and answer some questions you might have about commercial aviation and operating the 737-800 in general.
Whilst every effort is made to accurately replicate the way the aircraft is flown based on my experience as an Airline Captain and Type Rating Instructor, this is purely for entertainment only.
If you happen to be a line pilot or training pilot you must not follow the guidance in this livestream, it is purely for non-professional computer simulated flight. Only consult your approved material from your respective operator.
Personal questions and queries regarding my employment status will not be answered.
