i keep writing new riffs that could possibly become songs. i keep making videos of those riffs. most of those videos, i don't put up here. i really should put them all up. you know. hide nothing!

this riff, i happen to like quite a bit. right now, it's just a "verse" and a "chorus". i envision the verse as having no words (maybe just a sustained hooting sound), and the chorus as having something really huge and anthem-like.

in order for this riff to become a song it needs:

1. a distinctly different second chorus riff (a super-chorus, like how nirvana's "lithium" goes through one chorus before suddenly springing on you, in the second chorus, the fact that there's ANOTHER, BIGGER chorus part)

2. a bridge (something huge, monster-sized, chugging, wailing, noisy, feedbacky)

maybe i'll use it in something, though. who knows!

the orange 15-R amp tone was much better in person than it sounds on this video, i assure you.
