Large Quest Improvements! Brain Control in VRChat, Vision Pro & More!
2,646In today's video, I am going to give you guys the latest information on the AR and VR scene. First, we will begin with Meta news as usual. Meta wants to bring your real hands into VR as a 3D object to replace the see-through and cartoony ones, the Quest 3 mic did actually get better with tweaks and updates, touch controllers are now going to get full finger tracking with an accessory with DiverX and VRChat can now be controlled with your brain through BCI devices! On top of that Meta seems to be working on Codec and fantastical avatars to further add customization to the metaverse as well as Mark Zuckerberg confirming that their focus on AI doesn't mean they're moving away from VR/AR. The Quest does also have a new ad campaign, this time focusing on work :D 200 native apps will ba available on the Vision Pro at launch and some people think that's not enough, I think for launch, that's not too bad. CitraVR is now out, allowing you to play Nintendo 3Ds titles on your Quest, the Disney holodeck is a really cool piece of technology that might just be able to solve locomotion in VR and sidequest is now banning gorilla tag clones!
