The very last public pay phone was removed from New York City on Monday.

In 2015, New York City started replacing payphones with Wi-Fi hotspots that also provide device charging and free calls within the U.S. (More: https://bit.ly/3Gg48FI)

That got the panel thinking about old tech that's still around though rarely used.
