For a minimum $50 donation you can get your own background character put in the game, which can be based on yourself, one of your original characters or a fan character that will be converted into the style of the TOME universe. When donating, you'll be required to provide your email address, and we'll then send you back an assignment of rights contract that you'll need to fill out with any details, by way of a written description and any images you can provide so that your character can be brought to life. You MUST send us back this filled out contract by 1 PM PST or you will not receive this reward. We'll be as diligent as possible in sending back the contracts to your provided email as quickly as we possibly can, so please be quick in return!
An hour before the cut off point, at 12 Noon PST on 12/31, the top donator will have their character made into a fully-animated enemy to be fought against in the finished game. That's right, we are adding a 151st player enemy into the game!
To explain in further detail what we mean by "top donator": we mentioned that you can get the basic background character award for a minimum $50 donation; and please understand, we will only allow ONE character per-person. We'll be keeping track of donations and treating the fully-animated enemy character as sort of an auction. For example, if one person donates $100, then they would become the top donator…until, say for example, one of the $50 donators puts forward another donation of, let's say $150. That would then be added to their total, bringing them to $200, thereby making them the top donor until someone tops the amount of 200, and so on and so forth. At 12 PM PST, we will add up all the totals to determine the winner. The background character rewards AND the fully-animated enemy auction reward will be open to anybody and everybody, including those who were already winners of our past contest events or donators to the original TOME RPG Kickstarter. The Doctors Without Borders COVID-19 Crisis Fund aims to raise urgently-needed money for their emergency response to the new coronavirus pandemic and its consequences. The fund also enables supporters to designate their donations as contributions restricted specifically towards this global effort. Money raised through the fund will support Doctors Without Borders’ COVID-19 response activities worldwide, including programme costs related to treating people with COVID-19, and the consequences the pandemic has on their regular programmes.
