Starting with the philosophy of the build. You pick up a hefty 2 hander, with a good amount of base damage, and then you start whacking around with erasing strike. That’s the philosophy of the build. I just wanted to make a hard-hitting void knight, hammering it home.
The build utilizes the Ephemeral Stance for added damage, Lunge for mobility and invulnerability, Vengeance for boss fights and Volatile Reversal for mana recovery. Erasing Strike is a cool skill which deals large amounts of damage from a relatively safe distance with huge AOE potential, ideal for killing packs of mobs.
I decided to use raw damage, so that means weapon base damage, void melee damage and overall void damage. I tried a crit build, but found it inconsistent. I tried an echo build, but also found it inconsistent and those echoes are all over the place, hitting the wrong things or nothing at all, I really didn’t like it. Plain raw damage that scales with Erasing Strike worked really well for me, making use of reliable passives and skill tree specializations.
