In this video, we'll show you how to optimize The Last of Us on PC for better performance. With these quick settings adjustments, you can gain around 30 more FPS depending on your PC specs.

The three settings that have the biggest impact on the framerate are lighting, shadows, and textures. For optimal texture settings, we recommend setting all options from Ultra to High and only leaving the sampling on Ultra. This alone can give you a 10 FPS boost.

For lighting and shadows, we recommend setting the resolution of directional shadows to High or Medium, depending on your starting preset. This change from Ultra to High can also give you around 10 more FPS.

When it comes to graphic effects, you can safely push the volumetric effects quality to Medium, as the quality of fog and light rays barely drops. Doing so can give you an additional 10-12 FPS boost.

By following these simple optimization tips, you can improve the performance of The Last of Us on PC and enjoy a smoother gameplay experience.
