The Escape and the Confrontation
Due to the assault, this area will be crawling with WLF and Scar soldiers. They can all be bypassed by using the environment and shallow water to dive under when needed. They may also be distracted fighting against each other.
At this part, you will be facing 1 on 1 with a Sledge Hammer wielding Scar soldier while using an unbreakable scythe. He is extremely tough to take down but will telegraph his attacks. Try not to get grabbed and anticipate his swings before delivering few slashes and ducking out. Follow several button prompts to finish him off.
Using the tables and other obstructions to get close to Ellie without alerting her. She'll start shooting if she knows your location for the confrontation part.
