I've been wanting to try the "Wilderness Survival Challenge" in Project Zomboid for a long time and now the time has come. But here's a little twist - there is absolutely NO WATER on my map, which makes the challenge even more fun (I hope). Since there is absolutely nothing on the map except trees, I also use zombie loot mod. My goal is to build a completely self-sufficient base protected from the hordes of zombies that come every day. Detailed information about the map/mods is below.

Map:
Neanderthal Challenge (this custom map consists entirely of forest with a few empty fields. There are no water sources, as well as any buildings.)

Sandbox settings:
Zombie respawn – disabled
Helicopter event – disabled
Zombie population multiplier - 0.01
All other settings are default for Apocalypse preset

Horde Night mod settings:
Horde Night starting hour – 12:00
First Horde day – 0
Horde Night frequency – 1 (horde every day)
Horde Starting zombie count – 10
Horde zombie increments – 2 (+2 zeds to horde every day)
Horde spawn distance – 33
All other settings are default

Zombie Loot mod settings:
Everything is default except for the global multiplier. I set its value to 500. I tried many options, but this one turned out to be the most fair in terms of quantity and quality of loot so that the game did not become too easy or vice versa.

Character traits and occupation:
Park ranger + Illiterate, Cat’s Eyes, Outdoorsman
Completely naked
