I've been playing Last Year: The Nightmare since the Discord version way back, and avidly played to maintain a top 500 status on the leaderboards. After growing bored, the game faded away from a lot of people's minds. Later, Last Year was ported and updated into a new Steam version called Last Year, starting off with its first chapter: After Dark. Years later, now with Elastic Games completely disbanded and no longer updating the game, many players still play it thanks to Steam's peer to peer system.
