Launching the Sentinel Space Telescope on the Pegasus rocket from Captain Earth
#captainearth #kerbalspaceprogram
Using the same mods from before and "Soundtrack Editor Forked", I use my recreation of the Pegasus rocket seen in Captain Earth to launch the Sentinel Space Telescope by the B612 Foundation, built by Ball Aerospace, in a heliocentric orbit. Also added are the audio tracks from the SES Astra promo from 1994. The probe in question is the space telescope I talked about, which happens to be inside the Pegasus rocket preparing for launch. The rocket is launched in a proper full on rocket launch sequence with stages being ejected and everything. It then burns to bring it into a low earth orbit, medium earth orbit, geosynchronous orbit, or even an escape trajectory. After the Pegasus' second stage has done these tasks, the spacecraft separates from Pegasus' second stage (which already broke apart from the first stage earlier in the mission), and all that’s left once it reaches space is the satellite, space probe, or the HTV (H-II Transfer Vehicle).
