0Lauren London's recovery from Nipsey Hussle's passing has "just started."
The rapper, 33, was shot and killed in Los Angeles in March 2019; Lauren, the mother of his 6-year-old son Kross, is still adjusting to his passing.
From 2013 until the rapper's death, Lauren, 37, dated him - said: "It's something that will continue forever. Healing is not like a straight arrow: it goes up and down, so I don't think that I am done with anything."
Lauren then clarified that her recovery "requires practice".
She told E! News: "I used to always pray for understanding, and now it's the overstanding. It is the bird's eye view of it all."
Lauren said that Nipsey's passing affected the way she approached her work last year.
The actress said "Moving forward in my life, I kind of don't want to do anything that I can't really truthfully contribute."
She added "We will continue moving on as we had to, as he would want us to."
