I wrote this song a few days ago, and I struggled trying to find the perfect sound for this. I previewed over a hundred different versions, and this is the only one where the AI got everything semi-perfect.
I sat down the other evening after I felt the Lord tugging at my heart, and He used me to write this song. I think it took me about 30-45 minutes to get it all pieced together because I was in the middle of making dinner.

Fast forward a few nights, and I'm scrolling on TikTok and hearing author Lee Strobel talk about a fellow pastor who had something happen to his vocal cords. He spoke in a very low, gruff, whispery type of voice because of the sickness and nerve damage. For about three years this man suffered, until one day he was invited to a church to do a Sunday School Service. He preached on Psalm 103, and as he read God's Word, the man's voice became perfect, clear, and brand new! What's crazy, is that the whole thing was recorded, so you can hear God performing the miracle!

You can check out Lee Strobel talking about it in the video here:

What's even more crazy, is that the man was looked over by the world's most prestigious throat Doctors, and they all saw the nerve damage! The next day after his miraculous healing, he visited his Doctors, and they found him to be perfectly fine! It's an amazing and tear-jerking video.

God is still in the business of performing miracles! You and I are miracles, and the Lord will use His people in such amazing ways, that can only be described as Him!

As I listened to this story, and the pastor read from Psalm 103, I started sobbing and realized the song I had written perfectly aligns with this chapter of Scripture. God was speaking to my heart, and showing me that He's redeemed us from the pit. All the sickness and evil can leave and go back to where it belongs!

Psalm 103:1-6 says,

“Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins
    and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.”

For the past few years I've been struggling with anxiety, and it feels like it's taken over at times. I'm not able to live or enjoy life because of it. Like the pastor who read and experienced healing from the Lord, I too need His healing touch!

This song in many ways I think, is the ultimate culmination of the name God gave to me: ‘Lazarus Rising.’
This song represents us and how imperfect people we are, and how we deserve death, and our spot in the pit! Even as a Christian you're still gonna sin and mess up, but we strive to be and do better! That's growth isn't it?
And sometimes I still see myself as dirty and rotten, but God doesn't!
Jesus loves you and me, and He died the death we deserve, so we can spend eternity with Him! Jesus holds the keys to death and hell, and He wants YOU to spend forever with Him!
We were once dead and sick in sin, but His love and death on the cross set us free - saving us from the pit and destructiveness of sin! He raises us from our grave and breathes life into our lungs!

It's my prayer that you see the Lord, receive His healing touch, and learn His truth through this song! God bless everyone!
