293Today's Mordhau gameplay video showcases how to shield surf in Mordhau following the patch 21 update; all you need to do is equip a Pavise Shield, hit "x" to open the emote menu and hit "1" for Surf and have the time of your life.
Today, you all get to meet Tony Tomahawk, my Pavise Shield Surfer build in Mordhau. I said I'd never use a shield in Mordhau....yet here we are. It's not exactly how it's supposed to be used, but that's where we're at today.
With very little armor, I take to the Mordhau battlefield with an axe and some throwing axes. I'm getting decent at fighting with low armor, so it wasn't a challenge in that regard. But with the combat changes that took place, I was able to pull off some maneuvers I don't know I would have been able to otherwise.
While the Axe combo was slowed down slightly (25ms) in Moardhau patch 21, I didn't really notice it, and I don't think many of you will either.
