Take a closer look at the padlock and notice that there is a small opening on the other side that is too small for the key.

Examine the key and find a small dot on it. This is the pin that needs to be removed.

Tap the key gently a couple of times to remove the pin.

Insert the key with the removed pin into the small opening on the other side of the padlock.

Push the key in partially, remove the tool, and then insert the key all the way in.

Retract the key a little bit and rotate it.

The padlock should now open.
