This video marks the beginning of a new video series, that aims to teach you everything needed for Adobe Photoshop. I am using Version CS6, although any version of photoshop (especially the more recent versions) should be okay too.
I begin by showing you the user interface, and explain what all of the tools options do, the various menus and give you an overview of the layers, text options and much more. I also show you the basics for selecting colors and other tools in the application, as well as saving documents, opening them and more.
Adobe Photoshop is a very powerful application, but it is important to understand the basics before moving on to the more complicated aspects of the application. With this photoshop tutorial, you'll get a good grasp on how the interface works.
