Learning to ride electric unicycle, day 2.
This was my third session with my electric unicycle, an Inmotion V8F. The video was helpful to me, because I was hunched over a bit, which I corrected by standing up straight after this video was taken. I'm using yaw steering | arm flailing for balance and to steer, flail left to steer right and vice versa. On day 1 session 1, I spent about 20 minutes using a rail and getting advice, mostly to constantly steer left and right rather than trying to ride straight. On day 1 session 2, I spent about 5 minutes doing some short runs using the tennis court fence for assistance. After that I veered away from the fence, not expecting to get very far, but I somehow managed to keep balance and steer well enough to do 1 lap at a time, at 3 to 5 mph, later 2 laps at a time. On day 2, I increased this to 4 laps at a time. Not feeling comfortable with going faster at the tennis court, I changed to a location with a long and wide straight, where I was able go faster, about 6 to 10 mph, where my V8F became self-balancing, so no need to focus on balance and I could relax my arms. I didn't have any issues with leaning forwards | backwards to accelerate | decelerate. I then experimented with foot steering, moving inside foot down, outside foot up to lean the EUC, in which case the EUC was steering me (camber effect) instead of me steering the EUC.
