LeBron James: The Ultimate Scoring Machine With 40,000 Points #shorts
LeBron James became the first NBA player to score 40,000 career points on Saturday, March 2, 2024, in a game against the Denver Nuggets . He achieved this milestone with a layup in the second quarter, and received a standing ovation from the crowd. James finished the night with 26 points and nine assists, but his Lakers lost 124-114. James said reaching 40,000 points was bittersweet, as he hated that it had to happen in a defeat. He is also the NBA's all-time scoring leader, having passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the No. 1 spot last year. James is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, and has won four NBA championships, four MVP awards, and four Finals MVP awards in his 22-year career.
