Overall, I'm happy with the upgrade. There is a noticeable difference in brake noise and how the braking feels, but it does not stop me as fast as the stock mechanical brakes did. This might be in part due to the rotor size and types of pads the new hydraulic brake came stock with. I will do some further experiments with this, including swapping out the pads for some higher quality ones.
