Left 4 Dead | Achievement Clean-up | Session 3 | The Sacrifice and Versus
0So I wanted to finish up some achievements on Left 4 Dead 1. Some of them are gonna involve me using console commands to force splitscreen to force versus to work. (Cause sometimes there are no versus lobbies, cause L4D2 is more popular).
I have 31 achievements remaining.
I do 11 of them this Session.

The Sacrifice:
05:50 - Achievement "BARREL ROLLED"
This is a very delicate achievement, the specials don't usually spawn in the first area of the sacrifice (the only campaign you can do this in). So resetting till you get a boomer or a hunter to kill with the barrels will be a bit time consuming, I'd also recommend deleting bots due to them just deciding to destory the barrels and the special infected aswell.
07:15 - Achievment: "MAN VS TANK"
This achievement can be done naturally on The Sacrifice due to a guaranteed tank spawn during the crescendo event. I'd recommend a molotov or gas can due to the fact that a bunch of zombies will be in your way and doing passive damage to the tank helps a lot. Also remember to remove AI teammates.
Survival (Part 2):
08:35 - Survival: Death Toll - "The Floodgate" Gold Completion
09:00 - Survival: Death Toll - "The Church" Gold Completion
12:00 - Achievement "NOTHING SPECIAL"
Versus:
14:15 - Achievement "OUTBREAK"
This achievement is very... specific. You need someone that has this achievement to Boomer Vomit onto you... easier said than done, due to how semi-dead the online is.
14:40 - Achievement "CHAOS GENERATOR"
Get 3 friends (or good randoms) and try to activate all 3 generators synchronized it's pretty generous with the time window. All 4 survivors will get the achievement.
15:45 - Achievement "SLIPPERY PULL"
This achievement needs you to drag a boomer'd survivor towards you (only on Crash Course), which is quite difficult, especially if you have no-one that works as a team.
16:05 - Achievements "ALL 4 DEAD", "DEAD WRECKENING" and "WIPEFEST"
Alright.. So to save myself some time. I used the method from a guide. You need to get into a car as a not yet spawned infected (with a splitscreen player as a survivor).
Spawn them with "sv_cheats 1; warp_all_survivors_here; sv_cheats 0" and then do "sv_cheats 1; z_spawn tank; sv_cheats 0" (You need to do this in this way so that the "sv_cheats active" achievement nullification doesn't affect you. Then hitting with the car will give you the WIPEFEST (which is a crash course exclusive) and ALL 4 DEAD (4 kills as a tank in one life). DEAD WRECKENING is a grind achievement. You just need to do damage as an infected. So Hunter Pounces, Scrathes. Smoker Scratches and Tonguing. Boomer - Scrathes. And Tank Melee and Rock Throws. You can also grind the 20 Car Pile up achievement this way (which I did to 19).
17:15 - Achievement "TRUCK STOP"
This one is easily done. You need to let the other team beat it till the van opens, then if you kick all the bots and leave the splitscreen character, killing him will give you the Truck Stop Achievement.
