Legend of The Mystical Ninja - Warlock Zone IX (Final Story) - Part 2
The Mystical Ninja franchise (or, as it's known in Japan, Ganbare Goemon) is very underrated and obscure outside of Japan and while there are easily over a dozen games in the franchise spanning several genres, only 4 have been localized by Konami. Legend of The Mystical Ninja being the first for the SNES (although technically, the eighth game in the franchise, the the prior games are barely related at all to the rest of them, besides sharing similar names and settings) is an Action/Platforming game starring Dr Yin and Dr Yang (in later games, they are known as Goemon and Ebisumaru). As opposed to other games, like Super Mario World, Legend of The Mystical Ninja incorporates some lite-rpg elements such as towns to explore, NPCs to chat up and temporary upgrades to buy with the money you find and obtain from defeated enemies among other things. Of more particular note is the Japanese folklore inspired enemy/area artwork and design, quirky and goofy dialogue and catchy soundtrack.
We're finally at the end of our journey, two bosses stand before the Final Boss, both of which you should remember from prior chapters and then there's the Final Boss. After much trial and error over a period of several hours, i finally beat him and i will say this much: You need AT LEAST a Golden Helmet and the fully upgraded Yo-Yo is MUST along with a good supply of Ryu, if you're brave and/or confident, then feel free to tackle the boss in whatever state you arrive in, but don't say i didn't warn you. After beating the boss, enjoy the ending :D
