Since I was now more familiar with the game. I had an idea to get the magic key early in Castle 8. So I could "just fly through the other levels". Well it sorta worked/helped. But not drastically. It helped about as much as acquiring a regular power up from the game. I saved me 1 hour and 10 min's about. It was under 3 hours, into the 2 hour mark. From what was my first run which was 4 hours. Minus the 5-10 min I left the room. Puts this more appropriately at 2 hours 45 min.

So it did save me half the time. And also made it easier. So I recommend it. Just gotta get the magic potion, blue ring, intermediate sword and bombs to get through it .
