Part of a video walkthrough for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina for Time for the Nintendo 64. In this part, Link goes to the bottom floor of the Forest Temple. He fights the boss, Phantom Ganon, and thereby saves Saria! Saria awakens as a sage, gives Link a medallion...and then we never see her again. How sad.

There is good news, however. Saving Saria means that a new Deku Tree can grow! Yes! The new Deku Tree is grateful to Link and tells Link how he ended up in Kokiri Forest in the first place.
