Part of a video walkthrough for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina for Time for the Nintendo 64. In this part, Link fights the boss of the Great Deku Tree dungeon: a monster spider named Gohma. The Great Deku Tree gives Link a brief history of Hyrule that focuses mainly on the creation of the world and the Triforce. The Deku Tree gives Link the Kokiri Emerald, asks him to see Princess Zelda, then dies.

Link sets off to see Zelda, but before leaving the Kokiri Forest, he says goodbye to his best friend Saria. She gives him the fairy ocarina as a goodbye present.
