Legendary Wings is one of the games that made CAPCOM back in the day. It was a bit of a variation of the top down shooter. It featured two heroes, Michelle Heart and Kevin Walker. Who are noticeably absent here...

CAPCOM went for two generic pink and blue styled heroes for the NES. This didn't leave a good taste in the mouth for the fans of the arcade game. It's a passable port, all the same.

There is editing in this one, because I had to repeat a level twice thanks to finding a nearly game-breaking bug. It's probably one of the better NES games that you can complete with or without cheats in less than an hour.
