In an interview with MrGM a couple of weeks ago, Game Director Ion Hazzikostas revealed that Legion Mythic+ Timewalking won't be returning starting in 10.0.

Will Legion Timewalking still exist with [returning dungeons to the Mythic+ rotation]?
No, it won't once we get to 10.0. Legion timewalking, the mythic+ piece of it was an experiment that helped validate this on a larger scale. You know, returning to old dungeons and using them for modern mythic+ experiences could feel compelling and fun, and having those two systems co-existing, particularly having some Legion dungeons on the rotation, feels a bit odd. Ultimately, we came to the conclusion that we want legacy Mythic+ to be something that is available more than one week every few months.
