Last month, the LEGO Group launched several spooky LEGO Islands within Fortnite all themed around the Monolith but, recently, they’ve gotten an update that might be teasing the future of LEGO Fortnite.

For starters, the Monolith is now completely gone from LEGO Chasers vs. Hunters. The same goes for LEGO Monster Fishing’s space station and LEGO Parkour Worlds’ Monolith Tower, now renamed to Tower of Spikes. But if all the codes were removed, how do you open the locked door in LEGO Dark Space?

Well, you can now find books scattered around the station, all marked on the map with a looking glass icon. Each book you interact with will give you a part of the code, which you can then use to access the maze.

This part remains mostly the same apart from the ending. A cutscene will now play where the content creators are being submerged in a purple liquid except for Loserfuit, which is claimed by the Monolith as it proceeds to mutate. You then make your escape while the other creators go through a door, although not unnoticed.

Inside the Monolith, a distressed Loserfruit hears a knock at a door and opens it, revealing a sky full of balloons, potentially teasing celebrations for LEGO Fortnite’s upcoming one year anniversary.
