Lego Fairgrounds Collection Loop Coaster! (Lets Get A Little "Loopy" For This Build & Review!)
10Today we are building the Lego Icons Fairgrounds Collection Loop Coaster set #10303, with 3,756 pieces. This set is from 2022 and is the most recent product from the collection, the prior being 2020s Haunted Mansion. As already having the mansion and enjoying that build, I really wanted to get the set too. I waited for double VIP points, then plopped the $400 US to buy this set. I always had an attraction to this set, likely my inner kid edging me onto build something with rails and cars, but I am happy to allow myself to try a set like this. In the unboxing we find 15 building stages in two boxes, a thick book, and a medium sized sticker sheet. Most of the building stages did feature additional bags, but that’s to be expected with 3,700+ pieces. Overall the build was rather simple and easy, it did get a bit tedious to build the tower because of the sheer size and amount of parts is takes. I did struggle and continue to struggle with getting the main function to drop correctly. Mine is too slow, where others I researched are either perfect or too fast. In this set we get 11 minifigures, One to operate a balloon stand, one to operate a hot dog cart, one to operate a pretzel cart, three to ride the ride, one to operate the ride, two to wait to ride, and the final two just being park visitors. The set is made with mostly a mix of dark blue and yellow elements. The track is made from premolded pieces. I did find the set to use too many parts that could have been simplified. I also would’ve liked the set to have brick built carts vs the molded one provided. All said I really do like the set, and the BAT Scared rated it a 86 which is perfectly inline with my feelings. I do recommend this set, but be minded that there are additional parts to purchase to get the full affect of this set that will run an additional $75 US. Please comment your thoughts down below.
