Lego Icons Chevrolet Corvette Build & Review! (We Also Pick Up Some More Lego Sets!)
In todays video we build the Lego Icons Corvette set #10321, with 1,210 pieces. This is one of the bigger ticket items released the August of 2023. I have heard rumors of this build for about a year now, and I am glad it is finally here. I thought it was coming in April but I was surprised to be getting the Land Rover Defender set #10317 instead. I love classic cars, and I love a clean corvette, and that is what my appeal to this Lego set is. I did have to use my car knowledge to break down what year exactly this lego set was but overall it was easy to pinpoint it as a 1961. In the unboxing we find that there is 9 bags to this build with lego switching to paper for two more unmarked bags protecting the window elements. There is also a clean book, and 12 stickers. The build went overall smooth, and without any major issues. The build did take me about 3 hours, but I found myself just relaxing on my day off to get this done. In the review we show all the lovely angles of this car. I do display the funky way the hood and trunk closes, and the weird way the roof was built. I would like to see more silver making the chrome elements of the car, because I feel that the light grey really drowns out the appearance. On the BAT Score we land the final grade at 77. Which in my opinion makes since as there was something that made this build seem a bit off. Now after building it, we see it is the odd roof, and lack of silver making that car look somewhat more of its 1950’s self. Overall, I do recommend this build, and think that people should do it. I finish out this video by doing a sort of a store haul part two. Wednesday we had a few loose ends on what should have been bought, so I return4ed to the Lego store to grab those sets. Those sets where the Lamborghini Huracan Technica set #42161, the Black Widow & Captain America Motorcycles set #76260, the Tranquil Garden set #10315, and 2 more of the Lego Brand Stores set #40574. I also show off the new Funko Exclusive Wall-E Facet edition. A reminder that if we grow 44 more subscribers, I will buy the Lego Creator Expert Parisian Restaurant set #10243.
