Mission 2: Tortuga
You'll begin this chapter in control of Jack. Move through the trail of studs and pick up a torch next to the red gate. Carry it back to the cannon near where you started and press the action button to light the cannon with it. You'll enter a first-person perspective, so aim at the gate and shoot it down to gain entry to the path ahead. In the new area, move forward and pick up the shiny wheel leaning against the fountain in the middle of this town square. Carry the wheel to the abandoned wagon on the right side and attach it.
Now pick up another wheel to the left of the wagon and attach that as well. Use Jack's compass ability and pick the apple on the right side of the compass wheel. Follow the blue dots to the apple, then pick it up and carry it to the horse sitting near the wagon you repaired. Once the horse stands up, press the character button to jump onto its back. Move the horse forward until the wagon falls apart, then head through the door it was blocking. In the next area, use Jack's compass and select the golden wheel on the bottom right. Follow the blue dots until you find the red X, then destroy the crate to find the golden wheel. Attach the wheel to the receptacle on the right, then hold down the action button to turn it. The nearby gears will move, raising a container to the platform above you. Now jump up to reach the green bar above you and hang from it to release a ladder. Climb the ladder and pick up the container on the right, then place it underneath the faucet nearby. Hit the action button to fill the container with water, then drop it on the green pad to the right. After a brief cutscene,
Mr. Gibbs will join your party. Switch to him and move to the far left near where you came in, then use his hammer ability to hit the glowing gears. Walk through the door after it opens. Back in the town square, head to the right and again use Mr. Gibbs to hammer the glowing gears. Once a door opens, pick up the torch and carry it back to where you first entered this area. Move to the dynamite on the right side of the path and press the action button to light the dynamite here with the torch. After the explosion, assemble the pieces and then jump down into the next area. Underground, move forward and break the barrel in front of you to release Marty. Switch to Jack and use his compass ability, then select the gun at the top of the wheel. Follow the blue dots until you find it buried on the right side of the room. Now use the compass again and select the shovel at the bottom of the wheel, then follow the dots and pick it up. Dig up the gun and hand it to Marty and he'll join the party. Take a moment to appreciate that awesome rhyme, then switch to Marty. Go through the small tunnel on the left. Once you emerge in the jail cell, use the gun to destroy the glowing block nearby, then switch to another character and take out the enemies that appear. Destroy the large glowing structure that the enemies came in on, then climb up the ladder on the right side of the room. You'll emerge in the world's least exciting bar. Switch to Mr. Gibbs and use his hammer ability to hit the glowing gears, then switch to Marty once the chandeliers fall.
Jump up to the furthest chandelier on the right and use it to jump across the other two chandeliers until you reach the upper platform. Instead of following the trail of studs, head to the left of the door and shoot down the glowing gate to find Minikit #6. Now follow the trail of studs into the next room. Kill the enemies, then switch to Jack and use his compass. Select the red thing on the bottom left of the wheel (is it a red chef's hat? We'll call it a red chef's hat) and follow the blue dots until you find it. Hand the red chef's hat to Anamaria and she'll join your party. Defeat the enemies that appear, then switch to Anamaria and use her super jump ability to close the shades above each window. Walk to the door on the left and defeat more enemies, then head outside. Use Anamaria's super jump to get onto the green bar above you outside, then swing to the left to another green bar, and finally to a balcony. Walk all the way to the left of the balcony and climb a ladder to take Minikit # 7 from the rooftop. Now climb back down the ladder and approach the brown box hanging out the window.
Take a moment to realize how unsafe it is that someone left that here, then push it out the window and down to the ground. Jump down after the crate and pick up the object that was inside. Place it on the green platform to the right to open a new door, then walk through it. Inside, push the box near the door along the red and white path, then switch to Anamaria and jump on top of it. Use her super jump to get to the balcony above, then kill the guy being harassed by the parrot.
