Mission 10: That Sinking Feeling
💥First Area
In the first area, smash the objects in the front of the first area, you will be able to build a console. Access it and flip the pieces to complete the circuit, putting out the fire to the right. Cut a hole in the golden wall, then use Spider-Man to climb the wall in the back. Up top, use your Spider-Sense to find two grapple points. Pulling them will send water rushing down some pipes. Head back out into the main area and use your Spider-Sense to find two more grapple points. Pull them to put out the fire, then destroy the debris and build the pieces into a transformer. Charge it up with Thor to enter the next room. Fight your way to the right and jump up onto the ship. Blow up the silver crates, then charge up the transformer that’s revealed. This will cause a crane to swivel over to the left with a crate. Use Spider-Man to pull it open and assemble the pieces into a console. Activate it with Iron-Man to take control of a small submersible. Pilot it over to the two red switches under the water to extend a bridge. Cross over and melt the golden container to reveal some pieces for a transformer. Build and power it up to lower the door to the left, then head down the corridor.
💥BOSS BATTLE - MODOK
M.O.D.O.K. starts out in a "psyonic force-field", so you won't be able to hurt him. Instead, take your frustrations out on the yellow guys. Once you have killed all the yellow guys, he will start shooting some kind of energy beam at you. Ignore it and the yellow guys and pelt him with Thor's Hammer. He will spew lava at you, then fall down, where you can punch him. Repeat the pelt-punch twice more and he is toast.
Once you have defeated M.O.D.O.K., Dr. Doom will scuttle the tanker and make off with the SHEILD research sub, leaving you to drown. Luckily, Jean Grey shows up to save you.
💥Second Area - Under The Sea
Note: you will not be able to go beyond Jean Grey's bubble in this area. She will follow the active character around, but she can't move as fast as you. Weapon attacks are still effective outside the bubble though, as long as you are inside it. Bash the cracked panel on the ground with Thor to reveal some pieces. Build them into a starfish, then use Spider-Man to find attachment points and yank the starfish off the wall. This will open up the path forward. You will eventually get to a ruin of a stone temple. Use Spider-Man to find and yank attachment points, and then Thor to bash the cracked panel. Clear a path through the rubble for Jean Grey, then proceed to the right. You will get to another blockage. Use Iron Man's explosives to blow it up. Proceed to the right. You will eventually run out of path at a chasm with a large column on the other side. Use Iron Man's heat ray to burn the tentacle holding up the column, then use Spider-Man to find and yank attachment points to topple the column, making a bridge. Proceed to the right. A bit farther along, you will encounter the stolen research sub. Bash the broken panel with Thor, which will trigger a cutscene and the end of the chapter.
