SUPER messy, but I didn't want to put too much time into this since it'll be copyright claimed :') Hopefully it makes a little sense!

In this AU I made, Lemongrab and his citizens are brought to Lumpy Space to live amongst the space people. Lemongrab learns that the Lumps, or nebula, can create worlds and new life, and he dives into literal world creation, creating planets and the life that's in them. Such creation attracts the destructive Betty-Golb, and in order to protect these worlds, Lemongrab has to constantly fight her. Lumpy Space Queen wants Lemongrab to join her as King of Lumpy Space, but he is hesitant to do so. Lemongrab only sees himself as an Earl, which disappoints LSP.
Fast forward a few years, and Simon approaches Lemongrab with a clone of Princess Bubblegum. He wants Lemongrab's Tuning Fork Sword in order to communicate with Betty-Golb, but Lemongrab refuses and launches the Bubblegum clone into space. Simon tempts LSP with the promise of bringing back her long lost love Johnnie in exchange for the sword.
Lemongrab finally feels ready to take up the mantel of becoming king, and shares the good news with LSP. LSP betrays Lemongrab and steals his sword for Simon. As promised, Simon (who retrieved Bubblegum clone from space), presents Johnnie to LSP, and they embrace. Lemongrab is deeply hurt by this, but as he is about to leave, Betty-Golb began attacking Lumpy Space directly. Putting his citizens and creations above his own pain, Lemongrab goes to defend the universe.

There's a LOT more in between, but that's the rough gist of it. I don't think I'll be doing much with this animatic or AU, but it's fun to work on every now and then. Gah, I wish I could show you everything I had planned out and all the little nuances and character development I had planned! It was going to be so good, but why is it so much easier to do this with fanstories than original ones?? (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

This song always reminded me of this fanstory idea, and just recently I had a huge urge to actually draw it out. It's really strange and surreal, like I'm being pulled and carried by a strong force to work on it. It doesn't happen often.
