The Smart Clock is one of the smallest smart speakers with a display, alongside the Google Home Hub. However, Lenovo's 2019 4-inch device is simplified compared with many rivals, including its own Smart Display launched last year. For instance, while you can listen to tunes on Spotify, YouTube Music and so on, there's no video support. And you can't even enjoy a slideshow of photos, making this Lenovo gadget best used as a voice-activated connected alarm clock in the bedroom.
At this asking price, with its slimmed-down feature set and basic screen, we struggle to recommend this dinky speaker. If you see it on sale however, the Lenovo Smart Clock is a fun little device that'll look neat on your bedside table.
