A short guide looking at how to upgrade the memory and fit an SSD (or replacement HDD) in to a Lenovo Thinkpad E550 laptop.

This is a simple task which can be completed just a screwdriver and a few minutes of time. I used Acronis True Image 2014 to transfer the GPT/UEFI Windows 10 install from the HDD to the SSD prior to fitting.
