We just got the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet in the house for a full review. Quick refresher on the specs, it is powered by a Tegra 2 processor as are all Android Honeycomb Tablets. With its 10.1 inches display, it only weighs about 1.65LB, a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video chat, and a 5 megapixel camera in the rear. Also comes with a full assortment of regular sized ports( very enterprise user in mind) USB port, mini USB port, HDMI-out, full SD card slot. The ThinkPad Table also comes with an optional stylus. You can even get a keyboard dock that transforms it to a good old Lenovo ThinkPad Notebook.
So how does it feel. This baby is light and it runs effectively , Lenovo have added a few custom overlays onto Android 3.1. Like a file manager. You can also kill apps directly in the multitask tray. Also on the home screen you do have a Zone section that allows you to have customized quick entries to any application. There are other cool features and as you can imagine this babe is fully supports citrix and as full IT manager control. typically what you would expect from a business minded product.
How is the stylus?
It runs off a single triple A battery that is provide for you with the stylus. It fits comfortably in the hands, has a singular button and is pressure sensitive to allow different writing textures. Its also very easy to use to navigate around the tablet, and may present an easy opportunity to work with the stylus while using the Tablet. I was supremely impressed with the functionality of the stylus and have to say Lenovo hit on the head with it. I found myself using the stylus more to navigate around instead of my fingers because it was just so easy to use. In all the ThinkPad Tablet is a solid piece of hardware with the business user in man. Its got all you need and what in an Android tablet with a lot more for personal use. The Stylus works like a charge and you have got excellent battery life on this bad boy. My only major knock on the system is the need for a massive plug head charger. Other than that the ThinkPad Tablet is a solid buy
