Les Misérables Book Review Part 1
2I've heard of the play, I knew there was also a Manga Adaptation (If there is one for Atlas Shrugged, I am buying it right now), and I knew about the book reputation of being very long. Yet unlike War and Peace, I surprisingly found it far less intimidating. Other than the familiar cover, and it taking place during a turbulent time in French History I knew nothing of this book. I don't even know how accurate the play is to the book. It was quite the education, and while this book is labeled as "Classic" I can't understand why it's not held in such High Esteem as War and Peace, or Moby Dick. Seriously why is Moby Dick so Idolized!? I think I've stated all I wanted to say about part one in this review. I hope you will join me for part 2. Until next time Keep having fun!
