Played blind from the volcano chase onwards, this is a surprisingly fun game that's unfortunately plagued some awful controls. The game is pretty funny and dumb, and has some good pixel art, music and gameplay uniqueness. The big problem is some of the mechanics just don't work right, the vines are half impossible to grab and make consistent, your jump gets eaten most of the time especially on limited or crumbling terrain (which killed me a few times) and also the fall damage is really weird. Overall glad to have finished this one, never thought I ever would.
