In 2026, an earthquake destroys and changes much of the world and Southwestern Tokyo swas plit off into the ocean which became an island covered in fog. A giant structure, (the Tower of Barbs), rose up out of the middle of the island and this tower is the setting for the game, in which the your character is exploring. They are aided by a grim reaper figure named Uncle Death
