Due to the exploding barrel on the left side of the screen being on the audio recording I had to resort to inject an external recording of the track for this level into the video. The source for these recordings are the actual music files from the game, just played back on external players, not the internal player within the game. This is the first time I'm doing this for the purpose of this channel but there are loads of soundtracks that can't be recorded in a proper manner directly from the game itself so there will be more of these in the future.
Quality wise it is on par with the actual ingame audio, maybe even superior in a lot of cases since the Amiga had technical limits you can bend with playback of these tunes on a PC. So it's not just a makeshift solution. The main difference right here is the missing Amiga 500 audio filter (lowpass / cutting some high frequencies off, I don't know the exact values right now without looking it up). It's also mastered to hit -3dB peak so if it seems louder to you than the other recordings it's probably just the perception of the high frequencies or the sounding of your particular speakers/headphones.
