This game is actually quite difficult. I remember that back in the day I only managed to beat the game with the help of a neat slow motion functionality of my trusty Action Replay Mk II. There's no Action Replay anymore so I had to practice a lot.
The game never gets unfair, though. It all comes down to you finding the right solution to the situations presented to you. Once you got that down things that seemed impossible become manageable. There is no or only a small portion of randomness at work here.
I really have to say that while the palette of the game seems a bit drab at times, bathed in too much grey and brown it must be one of the better movie tie ins for the Commodore Amiga. There's only a few games of that category that get it right and I think this one here belongs to this small group. The music is also nice and fits the timeframe and setting. The controls work surprisingly well and without too much lag. Sometimes you really wish for more buttons but it's not the developer's fault that they only had one single fire button to work with. There are a couple of hit detection issues on stage 03 (Alleys) but once you know what enemies are near impossible to hit you just forget about them and concentrate on easier targets as there are plenty to chose from most of the time.
Ah and while we talked about palette a couple of seconds ago: this game is a port from the Atari ST lead platform and in the process they forgot to adjust the color palette for use on the Amiga. The original picture is way too dark. I got it all fixed up for this video and the intro / attract mode one, though.
