Let's Break Sonic Adventure 2 (Extra Part 4) - Power-Ups and Technical Hijinks
Just a couple extra goodies that I couldn't fit into a Sonic-only playthrough, for obvious reasons and my laziness. In this video you will see:
-Finishing Dark side story without any powerups.
-Getting the Flame Ring for Shadow without the Light Dash.
-(Temporarily) skipping the jet booster for Tails in Mission Street.
-A quick City Escape montage of Superbounce tricks (See below).
-An interesting double-death trick in Crazy Gadget.
-2 ways to finish Last Story without upgrades.
The Superbounce:
One of the coolest (and potentially hardest.... not really) tricks to pull off in the game, Sonic is launched up to about twenty times his height in the air, allowing for some MAJOR glitches that I'll leave it up to you to discover (again, due to laziness). To perform it, stand about the length of 3 crates away from a solid wall, charge up a spin dash, and let loose holding in the direction of the wall. Jump and press the action button (B/X) just before contact with the wall. Sonic will cling to the wall graphic and rise higher than he normally would.
