Steve Smith (Apple Employee #528) is an electrical engineer who worked at Apple for nearly 20 years on some of the companies most ambitious products. GLUE logic for the Macintosh Portable, the "Twiggy" drives that provided the original floppy solutions for the Apple Lisa and the original Macintosh 128K, and countless other projects that helped Apple become establish itself as a business computer in the 1980's.
