Sprites in SPACE!

So... this is really awesome. A space game that is basically an evolution of the old Wing Commander games. That is, it uses sprites instead of 3D models. And polishes that up to ridiculous levels, which makes it a weird kind of alternate universe thing where polygonal graphics never took over.

There is not much in the alpha build yet. Just a bit of dogfighting with endlessly spawning enemy fighters. It plays really great already, though.
