Time to check the Demo of "Conscript", a top-down survival horror game in the trenches of World War 1! You control a French soldier trying to find his lost brother in between the madness of the war.
The gameplay is heavily inspired by old Survival horror games like the Resident Evil games. You scavenge for limited supplies, trying yo fit everything a limited inventory space,solve complex puzzles and of course fight enemies.
The game uses pixel art with muted colours, the soundtrack is minimal, but overall it has good sound design. All the elements work well to create a grim and dark atmosphere, fitting for the Trenches of Verdun.
Keep an eye for this if you like survival horror games!
